The official website (Mahindramojo.com) for the upcoming Mahindra Mojo has gone live as the company is gearing up to launch the flagship product later this month. After a prolonged development process, the 300 cc tourer is ready to hit the roads.
The motorcycle’s marketing tagline reads, “It’s time to answer the call of the road”. The official websites invites prospective customers to take test rides in one of the four cities across the country – Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Delhi. One can register for a test ride by simply entering the contact details.
It also has a section which introduces the “Mahindra Mojo Tribe” which is constituted by key people who are involved in creating the motorcycle. More information about the product will be listed closer to the launch.
The pre-launch bookings of the tourer is already underway for INR 20,000 with additional benefits like subsidized service and discounted accessories. The first 100-200 customers are expected to receive their motorcycles on the day of launch. Regular deliveries are likely to commence in the following weeks.
The Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 295 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which puts out 27 PS and 30 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, the bike is aimed at touring enthusiasts who are looking for an affordable and comfortable tourer.
Speaking of affordability, Mahindra is expected to price the Mojo somewhere around INR 1.7-1.8 lakhs (ex-showroom).
