The Mahindra Mojo which was launched at an introductory price of INR 1.58 lakhs (ex-showroom) is now dearer by INR 5,000. The flagship tourer was launched on 15th of October with special benefits for the first 100 (invitation-only) customers.
Apart from the discounted introductory price, these privileged customers also received exclusive offers like 3 year extended warranty (in addition to the standard 2 year warranty), a Mojo branded riding jacket and roadside assistance package for 2 years.
The Mojo is powered by a 300 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which generates 27 bhp and 30 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, the motor has adequate performance for comfortable long distance touring.
Enhancing the Mojo’s appeal are the twin headlamps with LED DRLs, a digi-analog instrument console with several functions, Paioli USD telescopic front fork, rear monochock, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres, J.Juan braking system with a disc brake each at front and rear wheels, twin silencers and LED taillight. A 21-litre fuel tank offers a decent range for those long journeys.

Competition comes from the likes of Honda CBR250R and KTM Duke 200. The Mojo is currently available in select cities (Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi) and the company is expected to expand its availability in a phased manner as and when the production is ramped up.
