Mahindra Mojo flagged off from Pune, heading to Nepal

Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited will be launching their flagship 300cc motorcycle, Mojo in Nepal at the 2016 NADA Auto Show (aka Nepal Auto Show).

In preparation of the launch, Mahindra has flagged off two riders from Pune, Sarath Shenoy and Daniel Derrick from their plant in Chakan, near Pune. These riders will now be riding the Mahindra Mojo all the way to Nepal over the next few days.

PS Ashok, Vice President R&D at Mahindra Two Wheeler Limited flagged off the duo who will travel a distance of 1,200 kms from Pune to Nepal. They will travel through Indore, Jhansi, Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Narayanghat to reach Nepal on the 29th of September following which the new Mahindra 300cc bike will be displayed at NADA Auto Show.

Mahindra Mojo 300cc in India has been well received. Launched in the country towards the end of last year, the bike is priced at INR 1.7 lakhs and presented in three color options of Glacier White, Charcoal Black and Volcano Red.

New Mahindra 300cc motorcycle boasts of a unique design, directed to create an impact in the mind of the buyer. The sports tourer is powered by a 300cc engine offering 27 bhp power and 30 Nm torque while top speed stands at 147 kmph. The Mahindra Mojo 300 sits on a long wheelbase and sports Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres competing with the Bajaj KTM Duke 200 and Honda CBR250.
