Mahindra Quanto facelift is slated for launch in India following its showcasing at the 2016 Auto Expo in February. Mahindra Quanto facelift draws inspiration from Mahindra Scorpio, can be seen with the same body shell as its predecessor while sporting some cosmetic modifications on its front fascia and rear.
New front grille and bumpers, a new set of headlights with DRLs and new air inlet on the bonnet were evident on the model on test. Exteriors also boast of new wheel arches, multi spoke alloy wheels and a new set of tail lamps.
Earlier spy shots confirm the presence of refreshed interiors inside new Mahindra Quanto facelift. It is seen with new steering wheel design and steering mounted controls. Done up in a light shade of beige gives an illusion of spaciousness while central console is also refreshed with armrests for passengers in front. The sub four meter Quanto facelift will be capable of seating upto 7 adults with 2 jump seats at the rear.
Mahindra Quanto facelift will be powered by a 3 cylinder, 1.5 liter mHawk 80 diesel engine also powering the Mahindra TUV300 mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox and 5 speed AMT. The engine produces 84 hp at 3,750 rpm and 230 Nm of torque between 1,600-2,800 rpm on the TUV300 while it offers fuel efficiency of 18.49kmpl.
Set to be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in February, launch of the Mahindra Quanto facelift could follow soon after. We expect the price of Quanto facelift to range from INR 6.75 to INR 8.3 lakh – ex showroom New Delhi.
