Rodeo standard version does not have electric start and Rodeo RZ does. New UZO 125 will have all bells and whistles of Mahindra Rodeo RZ plus catchy colour theme involving sparkling black body paint and orange decal stripes all over the scooter. Orange coloured piping on seat is a bonus touch. Unlike earlier Rodeo models, UZO 125 has coloured steel rims; orange on front and black at rear. Tread on tires of Rodeo UZO seem different.
Rest of features like telescopic front suspension, apron design, wing mirror design, headlamp, tail lamp and indicator design, side body, digital instrument cluster with colour backlight options, cubby holes, fuel tank lid and 12V mobile charger socket are retained from Rodeo RZ. New Rodeo will not get disc brake option, both 10 inch wheels have drum. Fuel tank capacity will also be same, 4 litres and kerb weight as well, 106 kg.
Engine will remain same as in other Rodeo variants; 124.6 cc engine producing 8.04 hp max. power @ 7,000 rpm and 9 Nm peak torque @ 5,500 rpm mated to Continuously Varying Transmission (CVT). This automatic scooter is capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 kmph in 9.4 seconds and top speed of 80 kmph. Mileage will also be same, 59 kmpl (claimed, as per ARAI test).
Price of Mahindra Rodeo standard is Rs. 44,757 (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rodeo RZ is Rs. 46,657. Launch price of Rodeo UZO 125 will be around Rs. 48,500.
