Scorpio N Z8 Variant – The One To Go For?

The Black shade on Scorpio N Z8 variant brings out a lot of character as opposed to other colours. This variant comes equipped with almost all the features of top-spec Z8L. In terms of safety, Z8 offers side and curtain airbags, ESC, hill hold and descent, SOS function and more.

To aid in comfort, Z8 offers electric power steering, dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents and blower, Alexa assistant, a larger 7” touchscreen with navigation and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, rear parking camera, push-button start, leather-wrapped steering, Coffee-Black interiors theme, electrically operated and folding ORVMs and more.

Other features include a sunroof, automatic headlights and wipers, LED projector headlights, LED DRLs, LED projector fog lamps, sequential turn indicators, chrome elements on the outside, rear spoiler, 18” alloy wheels (only AT variants), 17″ steel wheels for MT variants, Intelligent 4XPLOR terrain modes on 4WD vehicles along with MLD, drive modes and more.

What Does It Lack Over Z8L?

Most of what Z8L offers, Z8 does as well. But being the top-spec variant, there are additional features. They are driver drowsiness detection, front parking sensors, 12 speakers Sony 3D audio system, wireless charger, front camera, powered driver’s seat and a few. All in all, Z8 trim seems to be well-equipped as opposed to Z8L.

Mahindra should have offered all variants of Z8 trim with alloy wheels. But that isn’t the case. Also, a plus point for Z8 is that it offers all powertrain combos. Petrol MT, Petrol AT, Diesel MT, Diesel AT, Diesel MT 4WD and Diesel AT 4WD. You name it, Z8 has it. Okay, don’t name Z8 petrol 4WD, because that combination doesn’t exist for any trim levels, including top-spec Z8L.
