Mahindra launches Own-Online for hassle free car buying experience

All of Mahindra’s 270 dealers and 900 touch points have been integrated into the company’s ‘Own-Online’ platform

With production at a standstill, dealerships shut down and customers wary of stepping out of their houses during the current lock down scenario, automakers in India have resorted to online sales. The month of April saw zero domestic sales while social distancing is set to be the new norm even after the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us. New ways of sales are being devised to attract customers and the virtual world with online sales comes into play

Following similar announcements made by Honda ‘Honda from Home’ platform, Tata ‘Click to Drive’, Hyundai’s ‘Click to Buy’ and Maruti Suzuki also offering online car sales, Mahindra have now announced their ‘Own-Online’ sales route. This is a one stop, 24×7 way of offering customers ways to make purchases, exchange, accessorize, insure and make payments all in a few clicks from the comforts of their homes via www.mahindrasyouv.com/Own-Online.

Mahindra’s 270 dealerships and 900 touchpoints have all been integrated to One-Online, the online service platform to enhance the purchasing process with personalized end to end customer experience.

The four steps allow the customer to exchange, finance, insure and personalize their own choice of Mahindra vehicle. Customers have access to the entire range of Mahindra cars and SUVs via this online portal.

For exchange purposes, they can select their preferred dealership and get instant quotations for their old vehicle and where finance is concerned can select from a range of finance and insurance options. Payments are also via the portal and contactless doorstep delivery is assured.

Customers needing any assistance in completing the online process will be assisted by a team of experts available online on chat – video and text, at the click of a button. The platform also allows customers to accessorize their vehicles and opt for other facilities such as extended warranty and road side assistance.

This online portal is transparent, giving the customer clear visibility of on-road price, discounts, taxes, and final price with breakdown of registration, road taxes and insurance along with discounts and offers available.

Dealerships have also been instructed to take every precaution to ensure minimum physical contact where test drives and document collection is concerned. The vehicle delivery will also follow stringent hygiene standards with thorough sanitization of the vehicle.

Apart from the Own-Online portal, Mahindra has also updated SyouV website, a pre purchase platform and You Hamesha, a post purchase platform wherein the customer can book service dates, view vehicle history and receive service invoices.
