Mahindra USA, a part of Mahindra Group has recorded increased sales during the financial year ended March 2013. During the year, the company experienced rising market share and increased sales in US markets, gaining 2% market share in the country. Retail sales for FY 2013 stood at 30% over growth in 2012, and billings too increased by 7%. Dealership growth saw 79 new recruitment’s.
Ranked as No. 2 in the 2013 North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) Annual Dealer / Manufacturer Relations Survey for Overall Satisfaction, Mahindra US is also the No.3 tractor manufacturer in the country for vehicles under 80hp category.
Dr. Pawan Goenka, President, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd was elated at these sales results across the US and congratulated the team for their excellent performance specially in a challenging market scenario. Besides overwhelming sales and increased market share Mahindra US also opened Northeast Authorized Distribution Center catering to service and sales support in US and Canadian markets while the company launched the mCRD Common Rail Diesel Tier IV tractor, mFORCE and MPOWER tractor models. The company received many award and tributes during the past financial year which included the American Marketing Association Website of the Year Crystal Award and is currently a case study at the Dartmouth University School of Business.
