Launched in September last year, Mahindra TUV300 is available in India in 7 variants all priced between INR 7.45 lakhs to INR 10 lakhs. Primarily competing with the likes of Ford EcoSport and Maruti Vitara Brezza, sales of Mahindra TUV300 has been averaging in the range of 2,000 to 2,500 units a month.
Celebrating Republic of India’s 70th Independence Day, Mahindra has launched a new colour variant called Bronze Green. This is the same colour which Mahindra had showcased at the launch event (see pic below) at their plant in Chakan last year, but not launched.
No change in engine specifications will be seen on the TUV300 with this new colour variant. Based on a ladder on frame chassis, Mahindra TUV300 is powered by a 1.5 liter mHawk 80 three cylinder engine offering 84 bhp peak power and 230 Nm peak torque mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. The same engine is also mated to a 5 speed automated manual transmission as an option, which is capable of 81 bhp peak power.

All variants of Mahindra TUV300 receive a host of onboard safety features as options which include ABS, EBD and dual front airbags while top end variants get additional safety features of static bending headlights and alloy wheels along with power windows at the front and rear. On board infotainment and features is in the form of a 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth, Mahindra BlueSense, steering mounted controls, USB, AUX support and reverse parking sensors.
