The new Mahindra TUV300 is claimed to be best in class in many areas, be it its tough exterior, bold stance and capabilities to tackle the most challenging of terrains across the country.

Inspired by a battle tank design, the true blue Mahindra TUV300 has been under development for the past 4 years. At the launch, Mahindra said that the car is built on a completely new platform. The engine too, though has similar specs to the one which powers their Quanto, is a completely new unit. Total expenditure till date in the project is INR 1,500 crore, of which Mahindra has spent 1,200 crore, while INR 300 crore has been spent by their vendor partners. Of the INR 1,200 crore spent by Mahindra, INR 200 crore has been spent in the development of the engine.
The Mahindra TUV300 is being offered in 7 variants which include T4, T4+, T6, T6+, T6+ AMT, T8+, T8+ AMT and exterior colours of Verve Blue, Glacier White and Dynamo Red besides three other colors while a special color of Combat Green is also on offer. The Mahindra TUV300 reflects Veer Singh’s macho personality and zest for life with a host of on-board safety features, comfort, style and outstanding performance.
The 1.5-litre three-cylinder mHawk80 diesel engine with dual-mass flywheel and two-stage turbocharger generates 84 hp and 230 Nm of torque. The car delivers an ARAI certified mileage of 18.49 kmpl.
Features in the top end variant includes dual airbags, ABS, multimedia infotainment system with voice messaging, Micro Hybrid (start stop system), static bending lamps, reverse parking sensor, multifunction steering and many more.
