Mahindra and Mahindra Limited leading SUV makers in India have launched the new Mahindra TUV300 through local dealers Agni Incorporated. New Mahindra TUV300 is offered in three variants T4, T6 and T8 with prices starting from NPR 3,595,000 (INR 22.4 lakh) for the T4, NPR 3,895,000 (INR 24.26 lakh) for the T6 and going upto NPR 4,495,000 (INR 28 lakh) for the T8.
Launched in India in the range of INR 7-9 lakh, the price in Nepal is high due to the import duties and local taxes. Mahindra TUV300 sold in Nepal is made in India. The car is sold as a CBU, just like other Mahindra cars on offer in Nepal.
Mahindra TUV300 in Nepal is being presented in 5 exterior color options of Verve Blue, Dynamite Red, Glacier White, Majestic Silver and Bold Black. It is in a 7 seater (5+2) configuration and continues with a tough and rugged DNA.
The compact sub 4 meter SUV is seen with a bold front fascia and high ground clearance along with a rear mounted spare wheel. Interiors are in black and beige color scheme with a host of on-board comforts. Infotainment features abound on the Mahindra TUV300 with a 2 DIN audio system, Bluetooth, USV, AUX and steering mounted controls for both audio and phone controls.
Engine specifications include an advanced 1.5 liter mHawk80 diesel engine and 2 stage turbo-charger offering 84 bhp peak power at 3,750 rpm and 230 Nm peak torque at 1,500 to 2,250 rpm. Mahindra TUV300 is the only SUV in India to get autoSHIFT AMT transmission resulting in a smooth ride which is offered in the T8 variant. Standard transmission on offer is a five-speed gearbox.
