Mahindra TUV300 has been fully revealed through these spyshots from Team-bhp.com. The upcoming sub-4m ladder frame SUV was spotted in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It appears that the vehicle is shooting for TVC ahead of its launch on September 10.
The boxy compact SUV has a bold stance, thanks to the battle-tank inspired design. The sophisticated headlamps, front grille with body colored vertical slats with chrome outlines, squarish wheel arches, stylish alloy wheels and blacked out D-pillars are the design highlights.
The upright tailgate carries spare wheel like in Quanto while the taillights are mounted on the fenders. The previous spyshots revealed the interior which sports a black dashboard with seating for 7 passengers (2 jump seats at the rear).
Based on an all-new platform, TUV300 will debut a new mHawk80 1.5-litre three cylinder diesel motor whose specifications are under wraps as of now. Apart from a 5-speed manual transmission, an AMT is also likely to be on offer.
With a strong sales expectation on its shoulders, TUV300 would be looking to boost Mahindra’s bottom line. The UV specialist is hoping that its latest product will become its top seller, overtaking Bolero which is consistently selling in the range of 6,000 – 7,000 units per month.
