540 units of brand new Mahindra TUV300 SUVs were added to the fleet of Syngenta, a global leader in Agribusiness. Headquartered in Switzerland, Syngenta India office is located in Pune, the same city where Mahindra manufactures their new TUV300.
In order to grow, Syngenta needs to reach out to farmers in remotest of locations across India. In doing so, they need a fleet of rugged cars which can not only survive the ordeal of such off-road locations, but can also keep the occupants relaxed. Syngenta thus decided upon adding Mahindra TUV300 to their fleet. A total of 540 units of Mahindra TUV300 wer handed over.
Launched in September 2015, Mahindra is celebrating the first anniversary of TUV300. In the initial months, Mahindra TUV300 was a roaring success, registering monthly sales of about 5,000 units. In fact, in the first two months, the ladder frame sub-4 metre SUV managed to outsell the Ford EcoSport. But since the last few months, the sales have declined to about 2,000 units a month.
