Mahindra TUV300 T10 variant launched to rival Tata Nexon – Price INR 9.66 lakh

Launched in September 2015, Mahindra TUV300 is available in India in 7 variants all priced between INR 7.65 lakhs to INR 10 lakhs. Primarily competing with the likes of Ford EcoSport and Maruti Vitara Brezza, sales of Mahindra TUV300 has been averaging in the range of 2,000 to 2,500 units a month. It has over 60,000 customers in India.

Now, more than two years later, Mahindra has added a new top of the line variant for the TUV300, called the TUV300 T10. New Mahindra TUV300 T10 aims at taking on the newly launched Tata Nexon. It comes with new 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS, USB Video and Image Playback, Bluetooth Music and Audio calling, Mahindra BlueSense, Driver Information System, Steering Mounted Audio Controls, 4 Speakers, and 2 Tweeters.

Mahindra TUV300 T10 is also available in a choice of 6 single tone colour options – Verve Blue, Dynamite Red, Molten Orange, Glacier White, Majestic Silver, Bold Black and Bronze Green. It also gets two dual tone colour options – Red / Black and Silver / Black. The price of dual tone colour is INR 15,000 more than that of respective single tone colour. For other colours & variants in dual tone, there will be an option of black / white roof decal available through Mahindra Genuine Accessories as well.

No change in engine specifications will be seen on the TUV300 T10. Based on a ladder on frame chassis, Mahindra TUV300 is powered by a 1.5 liter mHawk 100 which generates 100 PS and 240 Nm. Entry level variants get a different tune of the same engine, generating 84 hp and 230 Nm. Transmission options on offer are 5 speed MT or AMT.

All variants of Mahindra TUV300 receive a host of onboard safety features as options which include ABS, EBD and dual front airbags while top end variants get additional safety features of static bending headlights and alloy wheels along with power windows at the front and rear. On board infotainment and features is in the form of a 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth, Mahindra BlueSense, steering mounted controls, USB, AUX support and reverse parking sensors.
