Slated for official launch in India on 10th September 2015, Mahindra TUV300 is open for bookings at company dealerships at a down payment of INR 20,000. Set to take on a number of sub 4 meter SUVs in its category, the Mahindra TUV300 is expected to be priced between INR 5 lakhs to INR 8 lakhs.
Being launched in a total of three variants – T4, T6 and T8 and in 6 exterior colours of white, red, black, silver, blue and orange, Mahindra TUV300 will be positioned above the Mahindra Quanto.

To be offered in a ‘Battle Tank’ inspired boxy design, the sub 4 meter SUV receives Jeep inspired front grille, swept back headlamps, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors and fog lamp enclosures. It sits on 15” alloy wheels and gets a 5+2 seating arrangement. Interiors were also teased earlier revealing the vehicle’s steering wheel and central instrument console while interiors receive a colour scheme of black and beige.
Mahindra TUV300 is powered by a mHawk 80 diesel engine, a re-built variant of the 1.5 liter 3 cylinder diesel engine which powers the Mahindra Quanto. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox or AMT. Once launched in India, the Mahindra TUV300 will have to contend with the likes of Ford EcoSport, upcoming Maruti YBA and hatchbacks in the same price range.
