Mahindra Two Wheelers to launch Rodeo RZ select Indian bike markets in June 2012

Mahindra Two Wheeler Limited has successfully launched the Duro DZ with remarkable results. The company now gets set to launch the new Rodeo RZ this month.

Sales figures in the past two months have been impressive.YTD sales stood at 19,287 while sales in May touched 9096 units. The company is excited of the new launch as the Rodeo RZ is a high performance and more powerful scooter that comes loaded with a host of exciting features that is sure to draw more attention for the youth in the country.

Rodeo RZ is positioned as a performance scooter and comes with a 125cc four stroke engine that is definitely more powerful as compared to the 100cc and 110cc two wheelers currently in the market. Fuel economy is one issue that the company will have to tackle where this bike is concerned specially in these trying times of high fuel prices when demand stays high for a bike with a certain level of fuel efficiency.

Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd (MTWL), a part of the US $ 15.4 billion Mahindra Group, continued to build its presence in the two wheeler segment.

Riding on the success of the recently launched Duro DZ, the company plans to launch yet another scooter – the powerful, stylish, fully loaded Rodeo RZ in select markets this month.

The company’s cumulative scooter sales from April to May 2012 stood at 19,287 units. Sales in May 2012 were 9096 units.
