Mahindra XUV300 AMT launch price Rs 11.5 L – 55k more than MT

Mahindra XUV300 AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) has now been launched at an additional cost of Rs. 55,000 over the manual version. Mahindra XUV300 AMT is available on the W8 diesel variant and its optional pack W8 (Optional pack). This means that the W8 AMT costs Rs 11.5 lakhs while W8(O) costs Rs 12.70 lakhs, ex-sh Delhi.

Mahindra XUV300 autoSHIFT is matched with Auto and Manual Mode. Auto mode pumps fuel efficiency and drivability. Manual mode tweaks performance. Vehicle Creep enable the XUV300 to move without throttle input in both first and reverse gear. This eases driving in congested city traffic.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Hill Start Assist tech prevents roll-back when driving on an an upward incline. Down-hill, Kick-down Shifts and Anti-engine stall means gear shifts are optimised deliver efficient power/torque output when overtaking, or for quick acceleration.

Drive and Reverse Lock Out safety feature prevents sudden shifts between reverse and drive modes, unless speed drops to less than 5 kmph. Creep disable on Door Opening safety feature prevents the vehicle from moving if doors are open. Driver Information System features gear display to show which gear is currently engaged, driving mode, etc.

The compact SUV now features AMT with autoSHIFT tech. The vehicle is already available at dealerships for display, test drives, and immediate booking and delivery.

Mahindra XUV300 AMT is available in 3 colours – Pearl White, Aquamarine, and Red Rage. Marelli engineering sees XUV300 autoSHIFT tech return torque of 300 Nm. The 1.5L turbo diesel engine with electronic variable geometry turbocharger delivers 85.8KW (116.6 PS) of power. Automatic gearshifts facilitate peppy acceleration and overtaking.

Mahindra XUV300 AMT variant is convenient for start-stop city traffic. Mahindra believes the offering is attractive to city dwellers, women millennials who would find the convenience useful.
