Mahindra XUV300 chrome kit accessory variant showcased to dealers

The Cheetah inspired Mahindra XUV300 is all set for launch in India. Ahead of that, select Mahindra dealers were given a sneak preview of the compact SUV.

At this closed door event, all six colour options were on display. All four variants were also showcased, including an accessorized XUV300 with Chrome kit. As you can seen in the image below, the chrome kit adds extra chrome to the exteriors of Mahindra XUV300. It can be availed on all variants.

Mahindra XUV300 boasts of a head turning design, first in class features, best in safety equipment and state of the art interiors. Exterior colour options of Red Rage, Sunburst Orange, Pearl White, Napoli Black, DSAT Silver and Aquamarine are on offer. It will borrow styling cues from the XUV500 with a cheetah inspired front grille, new LED projector headlamp, LED tail lamps and 17” diamond cut alloy wheels fitted under pronounced wheel arches.

Interiors, seen in a black and beige color scheme, will boast of some best in class features. This 5 seater compact SUV receives a dual zone climate control 8” touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

It also gets all four power windows and 7 airbags, the highest number of airbags to be offered on any 5 seater compact SUV. The XUV300 also gets front parking sensors, ABS, EBD and ESP along with Disc brakes on all four wheels and ISOFIX child seat mounts offered as standard across all variants. These safety features are a part of the Bharat New vehicle Safety Assessment Program (BNVSAP).

Engine specifications on the new Mahindra XUV300 will include both petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2 liter turbo petrol engine will offer 200 Nm torque while power figures have yet to be detailed. The 1.5 liter diesel engine will be capable of 123 hp power and 300 Nm torque with both engines getting mated to a 6 speed manual as standard. Automatic transmission could be introduced at a later stage.

Mahindra XUV300 is a sub 4 meter SUV, positioned on the platform as the SsangYong Tivoli. It is offered in three variants – W4, W6 and W8 along with the W8(O). Bookings have also opened at Mahindra dealerships across the country and on the official website at a payment of Rs.20,000. Ex-showroom prices are to be in the Rs.8-12 lakh bracket. Set to face a host of competitors such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon and upcoming Hyundai Styx Carlino.
