Special Edition Mahindra XUV500, to be made available only in the top W8 variant, will be seen with red graphics on alloy wheels and front and rear bumpers. Red color scheme will continue to red body graphics on its sides besides red highlights on wheel rims and spokes. A badge will also be displayed on its boot door depicting it as a Special Edition.
Cosmetic updates will be seen in its interiors as the upcoming Mahindra XUV500 receives red accents in the form of Cherry Red dashboard and seats. Engine configurations onXUV500 Special Edition will continue from the current model with a 2.2 liter mHawk four cylinder engine offering peak power of 140 bhp and 330 Nm peak torque.
Mahindra XUV500 caused much excitement in the auto sector when it was launched in September 2011. Its W4 variant was later updated, coming in with an Arctic Blue color and priced at INR 10.95 lakhs.
