Mahindra Auto has emerged as one of India’s best-selling SUV makers, India’s no. 1 traditional SUV manufacturer and India’s highest-selling mid-size SUV manufacturer. New SUVs are inbound and some are getting facelifted as well. Mahindra seems to be re-entering India’s PV pickup truck segment too.

Recently, a convoy of Mahindra test mules were spied in Ooty, thanks to automotive enthusiast Yash Patel. This convoy showed around 5 different vehicles across multiple segments. The convoy included XUV7XO which will launch in the coming days, Scorpio N Facelift, Scorpio Pickup, Vision S and Veero commercial truck. Let’s take a closer look.

XUV7XO
Pre-bookings for XUV7XO are already open, ahead of a grand debut on January 5th, 2026. XUV7XO is sort of a facelift for XUV700, with a new name. It has revised exterior design elements along with new feature additions. These features include auto-dimming IRVM, Harman Kardon audio, triple screen dashboard, electric Boss Mode, powered tailgate, new steering wheel, rear window sunshades and more. Same engines as XUV700 will be carried over.

Scorpio N Facelift
India’s best-selling mid-size SUV, the Scorpio N, is set to get a major facelift. Unlike XUV7XO, there will be no name change with this one. Previous test mules had suggested minimal design changes, but for the first time, we can now see temporary make-shift headlights on Scorpio N Facelift. Future test mules will be equipped with production-spec headlights.

This is a similar strategy we saw with XUV7XO, where early test mules showed temporary make-shift headlights and production-spec units were seen later on. There may be interior upgrades too. These include a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen, front and rear ventilated seats, all LED lighting and more.

Vision S
Mahindra seems to be on the verge of disrupting the Sub 4m SUV segment with a new entrant. It will be the production version of Vision S Concept. S in the name might turn out to be Scorpio (not confirmed). For the first time, this SUV was spied with emission testing equipment, suggesting final rounds of testing seems to be nearing.

Scorpio Pickup
The production version of Mahindra Global Pik Up Concept is spied testing multiple times in India in both single-cab and dual-cab versions. It was also part of the convoy seen in Ooty. It has been spied with an interior more modern than current Scorpio N SUV, which could make its way into Scorpio N Facelift as well.

Veero CV
Mahindra has continued testing of Veero commercial pickup truck, which was also a part of this recently spied convoy seen in Ooty. Currently, Mahindra has launched Diesel and CNG variants of Veero with payload of up to 1.6 ton. This new test mule could be a new variant or packing a new powertrain.
