Maruti Baleno automatic CVT now on offer with top-end Alpha trim
Maruti Baleno is offered with 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine option in India as of now.
Made in India, and exported to over 100 countries around the world, new Maruti Baleno has created multiple sales records. The latest one being – crossing the 2 lakh sales mark in less than 2 years.
Now, with supply boosted with the addition of Maruti Gujarat plant going online, Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of a new Baleno variant, the much awaited CVT with top-end Alpha trim. The CVT Alpha variant is priced at Rs 834,052/- (ex-showroom Delhi).
Today, the Baleno is the best selling car in its segment. The first lakh units were crossed in one year, while the car raced to lakh in a record 7 months, thanks to the start of production at Maruti Suzuki plant in Gujarat. Expect the 3 lakh no to be crossed in an even lesser time period.
Available in 1.0 liter BoosterJet petrol, 1.2 liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel engine option in India. The Baleno is also offered with a 1.2 liter Dualjet engine with SHVS in Europe, but it is not yet ascertained if this variant will be presented in India or not.
Already launched in many countries across the globe, Maruti Baleno receives chrome plated door handles, keyless entry and a distinctive chrome bar. It also receives 16” alloy wheels and parking camera at the rear along with a roof spoiler.
Where safety features were concerned, the new Baleno receives ABS with EBD, dual front airbags and LED daytime running lights while automatic climate controls, HID headlights and steering mounted controls are also evident along with infotainment features that include a 7” touchscreen AVN system and Apple CarPlay.
Priced in India from INR 5.36 – 8.55 lakhs (ex-Delhi), Maruti Suzuki Baleno measures 3,995 mm long, 1,500 mm tall, 1,745 mm wide and sits on a 2,520 mm long wheelbase.
