Maruti Brezza facelift production starts – More powerful 1.5 liter diesel engine

First launched in March 2016, Maruti Brezza is the best selling SUV in the country today. The sub 4 meter compact SUV clocks monthly sales of about 15,000 units on average. Its sales numbers are higher than the combines sales of all rivals – Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.

With more and more new cars being launched in the segment, sales of Brezza have started to decline. In Feb 2019, Brezza sales declined to 11,613 units. To boost sales back, Maruti is reportedly going to launch a facelift variant in the coming days.
