Maruti Suzuki has revealed their plans for the 2020 Auto Expo, which starts on 5th Feb 2020. They will have 17 cars on display.
India’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki will be having one of the largest stall at the 2020 Auto Expo. At their stall, the company will be showcasing 17 cars. Some of them will be new, while some of them are already on sale in India. Speaking about new cars which will be on display, it includes the New Brezza Petrol facelift, Ignis facelift, Swift Hybrid and Futuro-E concept.
Maruti has revealed that Futuro-E will set the design language for upcoming Maruti cars. Maruti says, “Futuristic electric coupé-style concept vehicle will bring a fresh global design perspective to the Indian landscape. Conceptualized and designed by Maruti Suzuki Team, the SUV coupé of the future is bound to make heads turn.”
Maruti Brezza facelift, which has already leaked in undisguised images, will finally get the much awaited petrol engine. It will come with SHVS mild hybrid system with 5 speed MT as well as 4 speed AT. Once petrol Brezza is launched, diesel Brezza will be discontinued. Ignis is another new car, which will be launched at the Auto Expo. Ignis facelift has also leaked. Along with design updates, it will also get the 1.2 liter petrol BS6 engine from Swift.
Other cars on display will include existing Maruti cars like Alto, Eeco, Ertiga, XL6, Ciaz S, WagonR, S-Presso, Baleno, S-Cross and the Japan spec Swift Hybrid. Maruti did not say anything about the much awaited WagonR XL5 or the WagonR electric for India.

Maruti Suzuki stall is spread over 4,000 sq meter, which is about 1/10th the total space utilized for showcase by OEMs during 2020 Auto Expo. The stall is divided into 4 zones. The design represents an amalgamation of two cultures, technology and intelligence with a harmonious balance.
