Maruti Ciaz, the highly popular sedan in the company lineup, is now offered in a new sporty package bedecked in a black color scheme with sporty chrome accents. Its interiors are seen with black leather seating and grey chrome finish.
New skirts and spoilers also add to its sporty touch and Ciaz S gets several sporty accents at the front, side and rear with trunk lid spoiler that not only enhances its sporty appeal but also adds to aerodynamics.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan has been a best-selling model on the company lineup ever since it was launched in October 2014. To date, over 1.70 lakh units have been sold. The new Ciaz S, appeals to a younger set of buyers in the country. It receives both petrol and diesel engine options and all the features that are seen on the Ciaz Alpha.
Where prices are concerned, the sporty Ciaz S is priced at INR 9.39 lakhs for the petrol version and INR 11.55 lakhs for the diesel smart hybrid variant. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Maruti Ciaz being sold through NEXA outlets since early this year has further enhanced buying experience for customers. Ciaz – which stands for Comfort-Intelligence-Attitude-Zeal is loaded with safety and comfort features among which are side impact, pedestrian protection regulations, dual airbags, seat belt pre-tensioner, ABS, EBD and ISOFIX child seats. Attention to detail in terms of interior space, comfort and driver and passenger conveniences are also noted.
Engine options remains same. Maruti Ciaz S petrol variant is powered by a 1.4 liter petrol generating 91 hp and 130 Nm. It is mated to a 5 speed MT and delivers 20.73 kmpl mileage. The Maruti Ciaz S diesel variant is is powered by a 1.3 liter engine generating 89 hp and 200 Nm torque. It is mated to 5 speed MT and delivers 28.09 kmpl.
