Sep 2019 was the 7th consecutive month where Maruti Suzuki India has registered a YoY decline. But, last month was the first month in all these months of decline, where Maruti Suzuki cars have shown a good MoM improvement.
From selling just 93,173 cars in Aug 2019, Maruti Suzuki India sales rose to 110,454 units in Sep 2019. When compared to Sep 2018, this is a decline of 27% in sales. But when compared to Aug 2019, this is an increase of almost 19%.
With festive season upon us, Maruti Suzuki is very hopeful of registering an even better sales this month, in October 2019. To boost sales and bring consumers back to the showrooms, Maruti Suzuki India dealers across India are offering hefty discounts on almost all their cars.
Starting from Maruti Alto 800, this is one of the most affordable of Maruti cars money can buy. With prices in the range of Rs 3-4.2 lakhs, discounts and benefits on Maruti Alto 800 for October 2019 extend up to Rs 65,000. Alto K10 discounts are in the Rs 60,000 range.
Best selling cars of Maruti Suzuki – Swift and Dzire are also on offer with hefty discounts. Both petrol and diesel variants of Swift and Dzire are being sold at discounts. Petrol Swift is being offered at discounts of up to Rs 60k, while Swift diesel discount extends to Rs 55k.
Dzire petrol discounts stand at Rs 65k while that of Dzire diesel are at Rs 65k. In addition to this, some dealers are also offering 5 year warranty and free accessories to make the deal even better.
Maruti Brezza is another popular car which is being sold at huge discount. Brezza sales have declined more than 50% since the arrival of cars like Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300. With Brezza not having petrol option, it is losing on price to rivals, which are offered with petrol as well as diesel options. Brezza discount offers for October 2019 are at Rs 67,000 and free 5 year warranty.
Maruti Celerio discount offers stand at Rs 60,000. Maruti Eeco discounts for Oct 2019 stand at Rs 50,000. WagonR discounts are at Rs 25,000. There are no discount offers on Ertiga and newly launched S-Presso.
