Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched a limited edition of the Swift DZire called Allure. This limited edition Swift DZire Allure is an add-on package on the standard trim and will be offered on all 14 variants of the DZire variants.
Cosmetic updates on board sets the DZire Allure apart from its regular model. They include a host of chrome accents and new body graphics on its exteriors. It also comes in with a new bumper design at the front and rear along with an ‘Allure’ badge on the trunk lid.
Interiors are dominated by faux wooden accents on door panels and dashboard along with two tone seat colors, new front central arm rest, new floor mats and leather encased steering wheel cover. Door sill guards and ambient foot well lighting is also a part of the Allure package while optional equipment includes Hertz audio system with speakers, woofer and amplifier.
No changes are seen in engine specifications with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire Allure Limited Edition continuing to be powered by a 1.2 liter K12 engine and a 1.3 liter DDiS diesel engine. This Limited Edition Allure package is priced at a premium of INR 27,000-38,000 over the standard model with the audio system at an additional cost.
This is not the first time Maruti Suzuki has introduced a special edition of DZire. They have done this from time to time, ever since the car was first launched back in 2008. One of the best selling cars in the country, Maruti DZire will soon get a new generation variant which is based on the new Swift, that debuted late last year.
New generation DZire will be lighter, safer, powerful and much more frugal than ever. Already spied on test, launch is expected to take place by second half this year. Once launched, it will continue to battle in the segment which includes Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest, VW Ameo.
