Maruti ghar aaya tyohar campaign

The Indian festivals hold special sentiments when it comes to purchasing a new car. It is not just during the festival of Dusshera and Diwali but even across every other festival celebrated in the country that families usually plan the purchase of a new vehicle.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has released a new 4 minute YouTube video highlighting the celebration of every festival with the purchase of a new car. The campaign is titled ‘Ghar Aaya Tyohar’ and draws attention to all models sold via the company’s Arena showrooms which include the Swift, DZire, Celerio and WagonR, etc.

Via this new Ghar Aaya Thohar commercial, Maruti Suzuki wishes to enhance the celebration and happiness in bringing home a new Maruti Suzuki car with the various rituals conducted. Watch the video below.

Maruti Suzuki India sales are on a decline for last many months. The company has posted an average of over 25% sales decline for the last six months. This despite of the fact that 2019 saw the launch of one of their most awaited car – the new WagonR.

To boost sales, Maruti has launched yet another small car recently. This is the S-Presso mini SUV which is sold via Arena outlets. The company has also noted a marginal improvement in terms of retail sales which started off with the Navaratri and Dusshera festivals from September 29th to October 9th when comparing with sales in the same period of the previous year.

S-Presso bookings have crossed the 10,000 unit milestone in 2 weeks of launch, proving that styling and pricing is right for this small vehicle. The S-Presso, presented in 6 trims, is priced from Rs.3.69-4.94 lakhs and commands a tall upright stance with high ground clearance.

It gets a bold design with two tone bumpers at the front and rear, new grille with 4 hexagonal chrome inserts, body colored ORVMs and door handles and C shaped tail lamps. The interiors are also seen with sporty accents with orange inserts on the dashboard and AC vents while it comes in equipped with a centrally mounted instrument cluster and a 7” SmartPlay infotainment system.

The S-Presso is BS VI compliant with a 1.0, 3 cylinder petrol engine offering 67 bhp power and 90 Nm torque mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox and AMT. It rivals the Renault Kwid and Datsun RediGO.
