Maruti Baleno, Ciaz, Ignis, S Cross – August 2019 discount offers

The Indian auto industry is going through one of its toughest phase in the recent times. Sales have been down across all OEMs, all segments and all geographies. Auto makers have been forced to increase discounts to try and attract more consumers. Nexa, Maruti’s premium sales network is also offering deep discounts in August’19.

Should you plan to get the Ciaz, you can save upto INR 70K (30K – Cash Discount, 30K Exchange Bonus, 10K Corporate Bonus) if you intend to get the MY2019 1.3 litre diesel-manual variants. Whereas all 1.5 litre petrol variants (AT & MT) get an overall of discount of upto INR 40K. Also, you can save INR 40K (30K – Exchange Bonus & 10K Corporate Bonus) in case you choose a MY2018 Ciaz.

Nexa’s hot selling car, the Baleno too is on discount (INR 15,000 exchange bonus & INR 5,000 corporate bonus). The pre-facelift variants get a deeper price cut as they can be purchased with discounts of up to INR 35,000, coming in the form of corporate bonus (INR 5,000), exchange bonus (INR 15,000) and cash discount (INR 15,000). The RS variant gets an additional cash discount of INR 10,000, taking the overall discount to INR 45,000.

The S-Cross can be purchased with a discount of INR 60K in August, which you can claim in the form of INR 20K worth of cash discount, INR 30K in the form of exchange bonus and an additional 10K in form corporate bonus.

In case you are interested in the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, you can get the latest 2019 model with a cash discount of INR 20,000 along with an exchange bonus of INR 25,000 & INR 5,000 corporate bonus, taking the overall sum to INR 50,000. In case you want deeper discounts, you can go in for the pre-facelift version where you can save upto INR 65,000 on the petrol manual and INR 70,000 on the petrol AMT versions.

Maruti has had a rough patch recently, sales went down by 36% last month and its market share also dropped. Upcoming launch from Maruti’s stable happens to be the XL6 MPV which is basically a premium version of the Ertiga and will be retailed via the Nexa channel. Maruti will hope that it is able to revive sales, especially in the upcoming festive season.
