Maruti Nexa Service centers in the works, launch soon

Maruti Nexa service coming soon

Meanwhile, 123 new Nexa showrooms will be set up across the country this year.

In six months’ time, an exclusive line of Maruti Nexa service outlets will be opened across the country to cater to the customers who have bought their vehicles through the premium dealership network. As of now, there are 127 showrooms under Nexa brand but the customers are required to rely on service centres of regular Maruti dealerships.

Currently, Nexa customers have three options to get their cars serviced. They can order service at home by calling up their relationship manager or get the car taken to a dealership for service and delivered back at home or go to a service centre with their relationship manager. The upcoming Nexa service outlets would be aiming at offering premium ownership experience by catering exclusively to owners who have bought their car at a Nexa outlet.

Nexa showrooms have sold over 70,000 vehicles so far.

Talking to The Hindu BusinessLine, R.S. Kalsi, Executive Director, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., stated that the rate of establishment of Nexa showrooms last year was too high to set up corresponding service centres simultaneously. He also revealed the count of the exclusive showrooms (which currently stands at 127) will be increased to 250 this year.

NEXA stands for New EXclusive Automotive experience

Maruti is expecting around 15% of the sales to come from its Nexa dealership chain.

Maruti Nexa service centres would come in handy once more premium models are introduced. The Ignis mini SUV and Baleno RS performance variant with turbo petrol engine would join the Nexa lineup in the coming months.
