Maruti Suzuki India Limited, leading automakers in India are offering hefty discounts all through the month of August 2020
Similar discounts have been offered on the cars sold via Arena outlets over the past couple of months in a bid to boost sales during these challenging times. Here is the list of vehicles sold via the Arena outlets with discounts for the month of August2020.
Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, petrol and CNG variants, the company’s entry level offerings, are at a discount of Rs.36,000. This includes a cash discount of Rs.18,000, exchange offer of Rs.15,000 and corporate discount of Rs.3,000. The Alto 800 in BS6 format sees certain changes over the BS4 version with exterior cosmetic updates and a new touchscreen infotainment system offered on higher trims. There is also a new Maruti 800 cc car coming in next year which will be launched as a replacement to the Alto 800.
Maruti Celerio is also at a discount of Rs.55,000. Both petrol and CNG variants are offered with the same benefits which include a Rs.30,000 cash discount, Rs.20,000 exchange offer and corporate discount of Rs.5,000. The Celerio CNG BS6 was launched during the lockdown period and is known as the S-CNG and is available for both private and fleet operators.
Maruti Discounts Aug 2020
Discounts through August 2020 on the Maruti Eeco MPV go up to Rs.33,000. This includes a cash discount of Rs.10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs.20,000 while corporate discounts is at Rs.3,000.
The brand’s micro-SUV Maruti S Presso sees discounts upto Rs.50,000. Cash discounts stand at Rs.25,000 while exchange bonus and corporate discounts are at Rs.20,000 and Rs.5,000 respectively. In this mini segment, comprising of the Alto and S-Presso models, the company noted efficient sales in July 2020 with 17,258 units sold, up 49 percent as against 11,577 units sold in the same month of the previous year.
Maruti Suzuki is also offering discounts on the WagonR 5 seater hatchback currently in a price range of Rs. 4.45 to 5.94 lakhs. Its discounts extended to its petrol and CNG variants are upto Rs.33,000 with a Rs.10,000 cash discount, Rs.20,000 exchange bonus and Rs.3,000 corporate discount.
The company’s popular premium entry-level hatchback, Maruti Swift is offered with benefits on its petrol variant, upto Rs.35,000. Cash discount is at Rs.10,000, exchange benefits upto Rs.20,000 and corporate discount upto Rs.5,000. Discounts on the Maruti Suzuki DZire petrol facelift are upto Rs.40,000 through the month of August 2020. The company also plans to update its CNG portfolio with plans to introduce CNG options on the Swift, Dzire, Ignis and Ciaz.
There is no cash discount on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza compact SUV, but buyers could avail of this model at an exchange benefit of Rs.20,000. The Ertiga petrol variant is also only offered with a corporate discount of Rs.5,000 through the month of August 2020.
Maruti Tour models, which are on offer for commercial vehicle / taxi segment, are also available at discount. Maruti Tour H1 (Alto) is available at Rs 39,000 benefit. Tour H2 (Celerio) is available at Rs 59,000 benefit. Tour V (Eeco) offer is at 36,000, Tour M (Ertiga) is at 49,000 and Dzire Tour offer is Rs 51,000.
