Maruti Suzuki delivers 1,600 cars in one day in Karnataka

As buyers in Karnataka celebrated the occasion of VarMahalakhsmi, Maruti Suzuki saw deliveries to the tune of 1,600 units in one day.

Maruti Suzuki dealers across Karnataka have created a new record by delivering a total of 1,600 cars in one single day in the state.

Customers who received the car on the auspicious occasion of VarMahalakhsmi, a day dedicated to goddess Laxmi, the goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity, had pre-booked their car weeks in advance. They had made a special request to Maruti so that they can take deliveries on this special day. Maruti dealers and management worked in tandem and made almost all deliveries possible, bringing delight to customers.

Ram Suresh Akella, Commercial Business Head, South Zone welcomed the buyers of these 1,600 Maruti Suzuki cars and owed this sort of response to the host of features and best in class mileage offered. He wished all the 1,600+ buyers taking delivery on the auspicious occasion a Happy Varmahalaksmi and Happy Motoring. The festival of VarMahalakhsmi is celebrated across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Maruti Suzuki commands a market share of 42.75% in Karnataka with the Swift, Dzire, Celerio and Ertiga being the most preferred models among buyers in the state. Sales of Maruti Suzuki average at 7,300 per month in Karnataka and with the company’s premium offering gaining the attention of buyers in Karnataka, Maruti Suzuki sold 1,200 units of Ciaz during the period April to July 2015.
