Maruti Suzuki Jan 2016 Sales Report

One of the major reason behind Maruti Suzuki posting a decline in sales, despite the addition of Baleno in their line-up, is the decline in Swift sales. Launched in October, the new Baleno is a Hyundai i20 rival. In the month of December, it managed to surpass 10k sales mark, and thus becoming the No 1 car in the segment. But, sadly this has come at the expense of decline in sales of Maruti Swift, rather than that of Hyundai i20. With Maruti Swift sales declining, there is hardly any change on the overall sales, in fact they have declined for Jan 2016.
