The Indonesia-spec Swift is powered by a 1.4-litre K14B petrol engine.

The Suzuki Swift Urban concept which is essentially a stock car with a few accessories is being showcased at 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which commenced yesterday. Suzuki also has Urban Concepts of the Ciaz and Celerio on display.

The Swift Urban concept is finished in white and features projector headlamps, LED DRL strips on fog light enclosures, larger front license plate, 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, side body skirts, rear bumper extension, roof-mounted spoiler with LED stop light, wing mirror housings with integrated LED turn indicators.

The Swift Urban concept features mild accessories.

Inside, the Swift Urban concept features all-black color theme just like the stock model but features white contrast stitching. Leather wrapped steering wheel and gear lever, and dual-tone seat fabrics are the other noteworthy features.

The Swift for Indonesia is powered by the 1.4-litre K14B four-cylinder petrol engine which also powers the Ertiga and Ciaz. The motor is tuned to produce 95 PS and 130 Nm of torque. The hatchback can be specified with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

Suzuki is currently developing the next generation Swift which is currently in advance phase of testing. The car will retain the basic shape but finer details are all new. The interior too will be revamped and one can expect several additional features.
