One of the largest automotive shows in this part of the world, Auto Expo kicks off in less than two days from now. With over 80 new cars to be unveiled, 2016 Auto Expo is the largest till date. The first press conference of the day is that of India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki.
As a car maker, Maruti Suzuki is at a turning point. Primarily a small car maker, the company now aims at widening its product range and attract a larger customer base. And what better place than the Auto Expo to showcase that. This is why their theme at this year’s Auto Expo is – “TransforMotion – Transformation in Motion”.
The company has planned to showcase a range of new cars, technologies, new platforms, new engines and much more at their pavilion. The showstopper of their pavilion will be the new Vitara Brezza, a sub 4-meter compact SUV which will rival the likes of Mahindra TUV300 and Ford EcoSport. Other new cars on display will be the Baleno RS Concept with 1.0-liter BoosterJet engine and new Ignis Compact SUV Concept.
Apart from this, the company is also expected to bring their entire line-up of cars to the show in a modified format, something which they have regularly done in the past. Accompanying new cars at the Maruti pavilion will be new-age technologies, new engines and new platforms, giving us a peek into the future of Maruti Suzuki cars.
