Loaded with a host of new features, Maruti Swift SP Limited Edition has arrived at company dealerships.

Maruti Swift SP Limited Edition is a new special edition of the Swift hatchback. It is based on the L trim level, and is offered on both petrol and diesel variants – Lxi/LDi. It will be priced at INR 5.15 lakhs and INR 6.20 lakhs for the petrol and diesel variant respectively.

Maruti Swift SP Limited Edition will receive additional features over the standard model. These includes fog lamps, wheel covers, blacked out A, B and C pillars, body coloured ORVMs and SP badges. It also gets Reverse parking sensors, 4 speaker integrated audio system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, central locking and keyless entry also form a part of the features on board the limited edition as do power windows, 60:40 rear split seats and new black leather seat covers.

As is seen with every special edition, the Maruti Swift SP Limited Edition does not see any mechanical changes and continues to be powered by a 1.2 liter petrol engine offering 83 bhp peak power and 1.3 liter Multijet Diesel engine offering 74 bhp power. Both engines are mated to 5 speed manual transmission and offer fuel efficiency of 20.4 kmpl and 25.2 kmpl respectively.

Though limited in edition, it is yet unclear as to how many examples will be released by Maruti Suzuki. First batch of units have already made their way into company dealerships across India with deliveries to be commenced soon. New Maruti Swift SP Limited Edition will help the company attract buyers who are looking for upgrades and equipment at affordable prices.
