Maruti True Value used car showrooms re-open with hygiene and safety norms

Customers at Maruti Suzuki True Value can be assured of complete sanitization processes from walk in right upto car delivery

The lockdown 4.0 is slowly being eased and automobile company plants, dealerships, service centers and offices are opening its doors in a phased manner. Maruti Suzuki also commenced production operations.

Earlier, Maruti Suzuki had restarted production operations at its Manesar plant on May 12 and Gurugram plant on May 18. Their showrooms opened up in Green and Orange zones in accordance with the Government regulations – by observing the highest standards of safety and hygiene in view of this deadly pandemic.

Now the company has also opened up around 400 of around 570 True Value outlets across 280 towns and cities. The remaining True Value showrooms will also open if they are not in containment zone and as per local government orders. Each of these True Value showrooms will have to abide by the highest level of safety and hygiene and social distancing will be a common practice so as to ensure the health and safety of every employee and visitor.

All booking processes will be completely digitized. All employees will be wearing face masks while visitors / customers to the premises will also be offered face masks. Thorough sanitization of premises will be done on a regular basis with special attention to all touch points while every car will be completely disinfected prior to and after evaluation.

To restrict physical contact, customers are advised to visit the True Value website and dedicated mobile application to search and shortlist their preferred vehicle. All documentation of driving license, e-docket and photos etc will be managed online while all payments will also be via digital means and video calls with the customer will be encouraged.

Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited has assured customers that their safety is top priority. Complete hygiene will be maintained in the car evaluation area, parking and lounge area. All desks, display areas and the test vehicle will be regularly sanitized while every person in the True Value dealership will undergo thermal screening prior to and after each visit so as to ensure complete safety.

The staff at Maruti Suzuki True Value outlets has been thoroughly trained on safety and hygiene methods to be followed. Meetings are held each morning to update the employees on these norms to be followed while employee’s temperature is strictly monitored. Lunch timings are staggered so as to conform to social distancing and facemasks will be mandatory at all times.
