Unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo, new Maruti Vitara Brezza is a sub 4-meter compact SUV which is built on a new generation lightweight platform. This platform is flexible, and based on this there could be more cars coming out in the future
As of now, the Brezza is designed to seat up to 5 adults. So is it possible to see an extended version of Brezza in the future? Well, you won’t be wrong if you too are thinking along the same lines.
In an interview recently, Mr C V Raman, the man who is the Cheif Engineer of Vitara Brezza, has revealed that there is a possibility that Maruti Suzuki will launch a longer version of Vitara Brezza in the future. Depending on the response of Vitara Brezza SUV gets, Maruti will decide on the future of a Vitara Brezza MPV which will seat up to 7 adults.
Maruti Vitara Brezza is the first-ever Maruti Suzuki car which is designed and developed in the country. This is why Maruti proudly states that Brezza not only promotes Make in India but also Create in India.
To be launched in the coming weeks, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will only be offered with a diesel engine option. This will be in the form of a Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter diesel mill which generates 90 PS power and 200 Nm torque.
To accentuate the exterior design, a range of new bright colours will be offered, along with funky dual tone combinations. Interiors will be fitted with best in class tech, to the extent that Maruti claims that Brezza will be the best car in the segment.
Once launched, Maruti Brezza will rival the likes of Mahindra TUV300 and Ford EcoSport. We expect Brezza price to range from INR 7-10 lakh, ex-showroom.
