Showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, the new compact SUV from Maruti Suzuki, is now getting ready for launch. Maruti Vitara Brezza is a car which has been completely designed, and engineered in India right from the first stage. The credit goes to Mr C V Raman, Cheif Engineer and his team who have developed this car in about five years.
Below is a short video in which Mr C V Raman explains the basic design aesthetics of the new Maruti Vitara Brezza. In the video, he explains why the car was designed in such a way and what were the challenges faced by the design team in the process.
To be launched in the third week of March 2016, Maruti Vitara Brezza will be offered in a choice of six different trims but only one engine option. This will be in the form of 1.3 liter DDiS engine generating 90 PS power and 200 Nm torque. The variants on offer will be LDi, LDi(O), VDi, VDi(O), ZDi and ZDi+.
