Show stopper of 2016 Auto Expo, Maruti Vitara Brezza compact SUV is set to be launched in the third week of March 2016. One of the most anticipated launches this year, the new Brezza is the first vehicle from Maruti Suzuki to be exclusively designed and developed in the country.
Directed at first time buyers in the country, Vitara Brezza will be based on a new generation lightweight platform and will be powered by a 1.3 liter diesel engine offering 90 PS peak power at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm peak torque at 1,750 rpm mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
Once launched, it will compete against Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300. Maruti Suzuki is confident about Brezza’s success against rivals. They have planned an extensive marketing campaign surrounding the new Creta which will bring the car to the notice of the masses.
Apart from promoting the car online ovfer social media, Maruti Suzuki marketing team also has laid out an innovative plan to promote the upcoming Vitara Brezza. This includes smart ads on FM radio channels, prime time TV, huge hoardings at major crossroads in cities, innovative ads on internet, contests, etc.
Some of the features of new Maruti Brezza include projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, 16” alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates and integrated turn signals. Interiors will boast of steering mounted controls, airbags, Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, reverse parking camera, and much more.
To be presented in six variants — LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, and ZDi+, bookings have unofficially opened at select Maruti Suzuki dealerships at a down payment of INR 21,000. Prices are expected to be in the INR 7-10 lakh bracket.
