Maruti’s first ever car to be designed and developed completely in India, Vitara Brezza is the buzz of the auto industry currently. The small SUV is still a few days away from launch, which is expected to take place by the third week of March.
Dealers have already started accepted bookings of Maruti Vitara Brezza at a down payment of INR 21,000. A few dealers we spoke to, have confirmed that they are receiving a good response.
To be offered with only a diesel engine option, Maruti Vitara Brezza will be manufactured at the company’s plant in Haryana. This engine is the same which is already seen on board the Ciaz – 1.3 liter diesel 4-cyl mill generating 90 PS and 200 Nm. It will be mated to a 5 speed gearbox. No automatic gearbox or AMT will be on offer. But, Maruti has confirmed that they are working towards launching automatic gearbox as well as AMT on board the Brezza, along with a petrol engine option.
Below is the first official TVC of new Maruti Vitara Brezza.
Readers here will remember that this TVC is nothing but an extended version of the company’s first video teaser of Vitara Brezza, which was revealed just ahead of the 2016 Auto Expo.
Winner of ‘Showstopper of the 2016 Auto Expo’, Maruti Vitara Brezza is a sub 4 meter SUV which is built on a new generation lightweight platform. Speaking about safety, Maruti Suzuki has revealed that Vitara Brezza has passed the crash test.
More details on Brezza will be revealed in March once the media drives and launch nears. Until then, you can have a look at the Vitara Brezza brochure below.
