Maruti Vitara Brezza is a new compact SUV which will be launched in India in a few days. Yet to be officially unveiled, the car has been teased online more than once. Before Maruti unveils the car, details about the car’s variants and features have leaked online.
To be offered only with a diesel engine options, Maruti Vitara Brezza will be available in a total of six variants – LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, and ZDi+. Those familiar with Maruti’s nomenclature, would be wondering where are the LXi, VXi and ZXi variants? Sadly, Maruti Vitara Brezza will only be offered with a 1.3 liter diesel engine option – no petrol engine will be on offer.
Speaking about the base variant – Maruti Vitara Brezza LDi features plastic body cladding, 15 inch wheels, standard headlamps with turn indicators on the bumper, front power windows, speed sensitive door lock, tilt steering, manual AC, music system with Bluetooth, driver footrest, manual day/night IRVM, parcel tray, black door handles and driver airbag (standard across all variants).
Maruti Vitara Brezza LDi (O) – In addition to the above features, the LDi (O) gets ABS, EBD, passenger airbag and front seat belts pre-tensioner.
Maruti Vitara Brezza VDi features a more stylish exterior thanks to blacked out A, B, and C pillars. Apart from this, it also gets black skid plates in the front and rear, body coloured door handles, black roof rails, 15 inch wheels with covers. On the inside, it gets keyless entry, rear power windows, seat back-pockets, fabric finish on roof and door, gear shift indicator, driver side seat back hook, rear seat head rests, security alarm and electromagnetic tail gate.
Maruti Vitara Brezza VDi (O) adds ABS, EBD, passenger airbag and front seat belt pre-tensioner to the list of features of VDi.
Maruti Vitara Brezza ZDi offers larger 16 inch alloys with bigger 215/60 tyres, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, silver skid plates in the front and rear, roof rail in gun-metal finish, chrome grille, and front fog lamps. On the inside you get piano black centre console, automatic AC, height adjustable driver seat, steering mounted audio controls, 60:40 split rear seats, rear window washer and wiper, holder for sunglass, ambient lighting in speedometer, door handle in chrome on the inside, premium quality fabric, lamp and socket in boot, vanity mirror lamp, dual airbags, ABS, and EBD.
Maruti Vitara Brezza ZDi+ gets automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, electric ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, push button start, keyless entry, parking camera, Smartplay infotainment system, navigation, cooled glovebox, cruise control via steering, front seat belt height adjuster, sliding front arm-rest with storage, and dual tone paint option.
