Maruti XL6 premium 6 seats revealed in video feat. Ranveer Singh

Maruti Suzuki India Limited gears up for the launch of the XL6 premium MPV. It will officially launch in the country on 21st August 2019 even as bookings have opened earlier this month at a down payment of Rs.11,000.

Maruti XL6, as its name suggests, is a 6 seater premium MPV. It will be on sale via the company’s Nexa outlets and will be presented in two variants and four trims of Zeta Manual, Zeta Automatic, Alpha Manual and Alpha Automatic. Colour options will include Metallic Premium Silver, Metallic Magma Gray, Prime Auburn Red, Pearl Brave Khaki, Pearl Artic White and Nexa Blue.

The new XL6 is a premium alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It is expected to be priced between Rs 9-11 lakhs and will get several cosmetic updates so as to set it apart from the Ertiga. Its front fascia sports a completely new design with new LED headlamps, integrated LED DRLs, restyled front grille and new bumper. It also receives faux skid plates, roof rails, new black coloured alloy wheels and some minor changes at the rear. Its interior layout is similar to the Ertiga with colour changes. The dashboard is done up in an all black colour scheme as against the black and beige colour seen on the Ertiga while it also gets faux wood accents on the dashboard in a darker colour.

Maruti XL6 will get all leather upholstery and the middle row will sport captain seats instead of a bench set up. The XL6 will be positioned on a Heartect platform and safety features would include dual airbags, Anti Lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Program, high speed warning, driver and co driver seat belt reminder and reverse parking sensors.

Maruti XL6 will be powered by BS VI compliant petrol engine. The 1.5 liter K15B petrol motor will offer 105 hp power and 138 Nm torque. It will get manual as well as automatic transmission option. It will retail via Nexa dealerships and will compete against the Mahindra Marazzo.
