The most revealing spyshots yet of the Maruti YBA mini SUV have emerged, giving us a sneak peak into the crossover’s cabin for the first time. The production ready test mule with heavy disguise was spotted somewhere in Rajasthan.
Despite its sub-4 m length, the designers have done a good job of making the mini SUV look proportionate and bold. The boxy front fascia goes for a traditional SUV countenance with simple headlamps, narrow grille and a big bumper with prominent secondary airdam and twin foglights (one rectangular and one circular).
An equally boxy yet youthful profile with flat roof, thick C-pillar and high waistline gives the SUV a tall stance. Five-twin spoke alloy wheels gel well with rest of the design. The rear fascia is hidden underneath the disguise but one can make out a tapering windshield with combination lights at its base, license plate carrying tailgate and a rear bumper which probably houses a diffuser.
Inside, the dashboard adopts a fresh design with a familiar multi-function steering wheel, simple instrument cluster and a piano black centre console with integrated audio system and AC vents. Below that we can see what appears to be automatic climate control buttons, and a stubby manual gear lever. The full-black interior sports silver accents on door trims and glove compartment lip while the seat fabric gets dual-tone grey treatment.
