First unveiled in September 2014, the AMG C 63 S sedan is all set for its India launch.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 S will be launched in India on September 3, 2015. It will be the 10th AMG model to be launched in India, and the 11th car from Mercedes Benz to be launched in 2015, as part of company’s ’15 in 15’ strategy.

Set to rival BMW M3 on launch, Mercedes-AMG C 63 S, a performance oriented version of the C Class sedan, which will be brought into India as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU).

Mercedes-AMG C 63 S is powered by a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine offering 503 bhp power and 71.4 kgm (700 Nm) torque mated to a 7 speed AMG SpeedShift gearbox. This engine and gearbox manage acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in around 4 seconds, while top speed stands at 250 kmph. Fuel consumption should be in the range of 11 kmpl.

The performance oriented model sports an AMG body kit, new alloy wheels, ED headlamps and fiber optic LED tail lamps along with new chrome plated tail pipes. Sporty interiors are dominated by sports seats, a flat bottomed sports steering wheel and a whole host of carbon fiber and Alcantara trims.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 S will receive features such as Burmester Premium Surround Sound System, heated front seats and keyless entry/start/stop. The car is also fitted with safety equipped that includes ABS, brake assist, ESP, collision prevention assist, attention assist and nine airbags among others.
