Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 Orange Art and SLC 43 Red Art launched in India

Mercedes Benz India has launched two more cars – Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe and SLC 43, in two special editions of OrangeArt and RedArt. Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ and SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ are exclusive models, which made their global presence felt in July 2017. They are now launched in India and will be limited to just 25 units.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ receives special features both where its exterior design and interior make up is concerned. These include orange highlights such as an AMG Line exterior, Night Package and AMG alloy wheels measuring 21”. Headlamps are in full LED Intelligent Lighting System with black LED rings.

Interiors sport black Nappa leather seating with DINAMICA microfiber with orange piping and grey top stitching. Matching floor mats in orange with AMG lettering are also noted while door central panels get contrasting black DINAMICA microfibre and contrasting top stitching in grey.

Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ also receives exterior and interior updates with red accents. The model sits on 18” AMG 10 spoke alloy wheels finished in high gloss black with red rim flanges and red brake calipers sporting AMG lettering. Red elements are seen on the front and rear bumpers and wheels while the entire exterior is finished in Designo Selenite Grey Magno. Interiors get premium upholstery with red accents.

Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’ and SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ gets power via a 3.0 liter V6 direct injection turbo charged engine offering a top speed of 250 kmph. This engine is capable of 390 hp power at 6,100 rpm and 520 Nm torque at 2,000-2,400 rpm on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe ‘OrangeArt’.

The same engine on the SLC 43 ‘RedArt’ generates 367 hp power at 5,500-6,000 rpm and 520 Nm torque at 2,000-4,200 rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmpl is achieved in 5.7 seconds and 4.7 seconds respectively.
