Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 to launch in India on July 26

Mercedes Benz India is all set to introduce the new Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 to Indian markets where it will replace the SLK 55.

Mercedes Benz India will launch all-new Mercedes AMG SLC 43 in India on 26th July 2016. Seen with a host of new updates, a fresh front fascia, new bumper and revised headlights, the SLC replaces the old SLK.

It also gets LED daytime running lights, new exhaust and revised tail lamps with LED. Being an AMG model, the SLC 43 also receives AMG sports seats, AMG steering wheel encased in Nappa leather and instrument cluster while chassis and suspensions has been tweaked for AMG performance.

Interiors of Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 also get updated with new COMAND system, large display screen, refreshed steering wheel and instrument cluster besides a roof mechanism that is completely automatic and works without any sort of manual intervention.

A large boot area sufficient to accommodate a golf bag will be evident when roof is up while with the roof down, space will be reduced by a third. The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 gets safety features such as sat-nav, front and rear parking sensors and Airscarf neck level heating as standard. Added safety features include adaptive LED headlights and emergency city braking.

Engine specifications on Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 will include a twin turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 engine offering 367 bhp power and 500 Nm torque. The new SLC will rival the likes of Porsche 718 Boxster and Audi TTS Roadster besides BMW Z4 roadster in India.
