Mercedes-Benz India and Carzonrent have now announced a luxury Self Drive concept, ‘Myles’. Self-driving a Mercedes-Benz is now a reality boosted with a feasible rent plan.

Mercedes-Benz CarzonrentInitially Mercedes-Benz C-Class and E-Class sedans are being made available in major metro cities New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Fare details for a self driving Mercedes-Benz C-Class under Myles stands at Rs 900 / Hour and for E-Class, Rs 1200/hr. VAT charges stand at 14.5% on total billing. Refundable security deposit (Pre Auth from card) is Rs 70000.00 (Mastercard and Visa only), and fuel up to 25 km is included. Daily rental charges are listed as Rs. 6,500 per day for C-Class, and Rs. 9,500 per day for E-Class.

Carzonrent and Mercedes-Benz will look into expanding the Myles vehicle offering with SLK and AMG cars. In catering to growing lifestyle, an organized self-drive market has rapidly improved these past few years owing to better roads, higher costs of chauffeurs, and navigation facility. Mercedes-Benz cars for self drive don’t only fuel aspiration to drive luxury cars but also ventures into a potential market.

Mr. Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India expressed his delight in associating with Myles for an enhanced mobility solution that extends luxury experience beyond existing customers. It is expected the alliance will benefit both company’s in terms of consumer outreach.

As demand for luxurious personal mobility solutions grows, luxury vehicles in a self-drive fleet cater to people’s aspirations. Carzonrent has reported growth at over 100% for its self drive cars last year. Myles’ fleet will have a 1000 cars in the next 1 year and about 5000 cars in the next 3 years.
