Mercedes Benz Tourismo coaches Frankfurt and Leipzig route


MeinFernBus, a company which specializes in long distance travel/transportation has inducted three Mercedes Benz Tourismo coaches for the Frankfurt – Leipzig route. The Tourismo has a vibrant history since its launch in 1994. There are over 15,000 models which have been sold and are currently in use by transportation facilities all over the world.

The best factors of these coaches are that they are comfortable and silent and keep operating costs to a bare minimum. Moreover, annual mileage figures of 200,000 km make this coach a good investment for a bus company. Two tourismo L vehicles and a 2-axle Tourismo M coach will be inducted into the MeinFernBus fleet.The Tourismo M coach is powered by an OM 457 LA engine which is capable of producing 408 hp of power as compared to the Tourismo L coach which produces 428 hp of power running of similar engine specifications. GO 210 and GO 190 are two ^ speed Mercedes Benz transmissions used in these coaches.

Seating arrangement in these buses is in the Travel Star Xtra design. There are interesting facilities which will be available to passengers using these buses. They include a coffee dispenser, and a machine which is capable of dispensing chocolate bars and candy. Other features include an innovative climate control system for driver’s cabin, on board air conditioning and a flushable toilet. There is also WLAN service available onboard these coaches which enable passengers to surf the internet with ease.
