Mercedes CLS 63 AMG BRABUS tuning at 2013 Geneva Motor Show

BRABUS the tuning company has offered a host of updates in the Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG which will make its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show commencing next week. Thanks to this new tuning kit named BRABUS B63S-730, the vehicle will have 730 hp and 1065 Nm torque with a top speed of 350 kmph. Though top speed is at 350 kmph speed has been restricted to 300 kmph as it would have an adverse effect on tyres.

Acceleration from stand still to 100 kmph can be achieved in 3.8 seconds while this can go on to 200 kmph in 10.8 seconds. The BRABUS B63S-730 engine has received lubricants from MOTUL which is offered only on the four door CLS Coupe and Shooting Brake. The CLS 63 AMG also comes with a special BRABUS Tuning Warranty of upto 3 years, 100,000 kms (62,000 miles). Besides enhanced performance BRABUS has also offered some internal and external updates. These are components made of clear coated carbon fiber which are lightweight and hence augment performance.

CLS 63 AMG also receives BRABUS Monoblock wheels of 19” and 20” diameter while BRABUS have also added special Monoblock R Platinum Edition forged wheels that are not only lighter in construction but stronger in makeup. These wheels have a distinctive styling as they are of five double spokes with the inner ones in matt gray paint while the exterior spokes are given a clear coat which draw special attention to the wheels. Concurrently, Brabus put up a display at the Supercar Promenade at The Dubai International Boat Show between 5th – 9th March 2013.
