On the exteriors of Mercedes Benz GLA, Brabus has added a new bumper with side air inlets which will contribute to efficient channelling of air and better aerodynamics. The new bumper is seen with sporty inserts in a new shade of matte silver.
The rear end of Mercedes GLA Class receives bumper inserts of the same shade of silver while a new quad pipe exhaust set up is evident. The Brabus kit also consists of a set of smaller 18-20 inch wheels while exhaust system is sportier with electronic controlled butterfly valves due to which exhaust sound is raspier thus catering to customer’s preferences.
Interior modifications include new upholstery, aluminium pedals and door handle along with an Alcantara dashboard, door panels and stainless steel scuff plates. Two sets of suspension setups are being offered by Brabus due to which the car can be lifted by 30 mm or lowered by 25 mm accordingly for better performance on off-roading and on-road performance.
Where performance is concerned, the Mercedes GLA220 CDI variant sees a 40 PS increase in output to 210 PS and 410 Nm torque resulting in acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph in 8 seconds and reach a top speed of 220 kmph. The GLA 45 AMG variant sees 400 PS peak power and 500 Nm peak torque while top speed is at 270 kmph thanks to the Brabus ECO PowerXtra D3 kit.
